With over 20 years management experience, Nannette has been involved with managing resourcing relationships and people in the clinical research sector.
During her career, Nannette has held a variety of roles, and all have been within the staffing/FSP environment. Prior to joining Clinical Professionals, Nannette worked with a large CRO and was responsible for managing several countries across Western Europe and CEE, a number of large client accounts and personnel.
Nannette joined Clinical Professionals in May 2019 as Head of Outsourced Solutions where she is responsible for supporting our clients and hosted employees. With a strong focus on developing long lasting relationships whilst ensuring quality deliverables, Nannette is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service to both clients and colleagues.
Linda has over 25 years of Clinical Research experience. Having started out as a Registered General Nurse and working in a variety of nursing roles she became a Respiratory Nurse Specialist and it was in this role that her love for Clinical Research began. After working as a Research Nurse for around 8 years she made the move to become a Clinical Research Associate.
Since that time she has worked her way up in the research world in roles such as CRA, Senior CRA, and Project Manager. Linda has always had a love for training and its importance within Clinical Research being key to gaining good quality data and protecting patient safety and training often became a part of each of her roles. Linda became a full-time trainer for a CRO and worked for several years as a trainer on their Clinical Foundation Program (CFP) which led her to travel the world delivering classes and eventually become an avatar in their Virtual CFP program.
Linda set up her own business and became a freelance Clinical Professional in 2014 and since that time has undertaken a variety of roles within Training Consultancy, Risk Based Management, Training design and delivery as well as keeping her clinical skills up to date with some PM and monitoring work. During that time, she has set up her own online Training company which delivers innovative and engaging training in Research and Education.
Linda joined Clinical Professionals as a freelance trainer in June 2019 and is now the Graduate Academy Lead and main training provider for our Clinical Training Graduate Academy.
Stephen has a strong sales background with sixteen years of specialist recruitment experience ranging from Finance & Accountancy to Data Analytics working mainly for smaller, owner managed Consultancies.
Stephen wanted a fresh challenge and joined the Clinical Professionals team in June 2017 as a Senior Consultant to carry on the good work of developing the Client relationships for the Graduate Academy, ensuring we have a pipeline of interesting opportunities to discuss once the Graduates have completed their training.
Recently promoted to Managing Consultant, he is driven by the desire to give back to the industry through these first to industry roles and takes great pleasure in challenging hiring managers that they don’t need to search for Candidates with a years’ experience, they need one of our Trained Graduates!
After completing her degree in Psychology, Katharine worked in an IT recruitment agency prior to joining the Graduate Academy team in July 2019, so she is used to working in a busy, high-energy atmosphere!
She provides support for the smooth running of all Academy operations and also focuses on managing the increasing candidate pool by continually advertising the Academy and attending career fairs in most of the Universities looking for extraordinary talents and promoting the Graduate Academy across the UK. Her role also involves initial screening and interviewing a high volume of candidates, running Assessment Centres and making sure our Academies run on time and to plan.
Katharine also keeps in touch with all of our Trained Graduates, making sure they are happy with their current roles, organising reunions and helping them identify new opportunities to continue their professional development.
Sharn Grew up in Zimbabwe, Africa. After seeing the impacts of the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry had on a third world country, it motivated her to work in the clinical industry. After moving to the UK in 2015, Sharn took her administration and communication skills and started her career as a Medical Secretary. This role enabled her to work alongside the undergraduate students at University of Reading. Participating in events at the University has helped her develop an understanding of student needs and career goals, at the undergraduate level.
In August 2019 Sharn was given the exciting opportunity to join Clinical Professionals, enabling her to work with new graduates, placing them in their first roles after our First-to-Industry Life Science Academy, and launching them into their new careers. She has settled into the role quickly, adding value and having a positive and proactive mindset.
